Prerequisites

  • For integrating the Slack project to the CloudDefense platform, you will need to create a WebHook URL.

  • Please follow attached link to create the  WebHook URL -

In order to create new integration with your organization’s Slack account, please consider the following guidelines.

Step 1:

Log into CloudDefense.AI Portal

Step 2:

After logging in, open the Left Navigation Bar, go to Admin, and select Integrations.

Step 3:

Once you get into Integrations, you will find Slack there.

Now, here are the steps to integrate Slack with CloudDefense.AI:

  • Click on the 3 dots located at the top right corner and select Add New Integration.

  • After clicking on + Connect Integration, you need to add some information.

  1. Basic Information: Provide an Integration name, and a WebHook Url.

  2. Alerts Configurations: In this step, first select a Scan Type (AWS, Azure, GCP, or Kubernetes). Then select an Account. After that, choose the Severity: Critical, High, Medium, or Low (you can select all severity options if you want). Whatever severity you select, those severity issue tickets will be automatically created on the platform. Lastly, you can add a Tag.

Note: If you select AWS and Azure as scan types, you can add a Region as well.

  • Once you are done with these 2 steps, click on the INTEGRATE button.

Your Slack account is now successfully integrated with CloudDefense.AI.
