For Scanning Public Images:

  • To scan public images, navigate to 'Applications' -> 'Scan' -> 'Other' -> 'Docker Hub' and enter the image name for scanning.

  • A new application will be created with the same name as the image after the scan.

For scanning private images:

  • Generate an Access Token in Docker Hub

  • Integrate Docker Hub with CloudDefense by accessing 'Integrations' -> 'Container Coverage' -> 'Docker Hub'. Paste your Docker Hub ID and Access Token, then click 'Configure'

  • Scan your private images by going to 'Integrations' -> 'Container Coverage' -> 'Docker Hub' or 'Applications' -> 'Scan' -> 'Other' -> 'Docker Hub'. Choose 'Your own images' and select the image(s) you wish to scan after successful configuration.
