Select Reports in the navigation bar and choose “Vulnerabilities Trend Report” from the dropdown.
The Vulnerabilities Trend Report in CloudDefense provides a comprehensive view of your organization's vulnerability trends over time. The report includes three key graphs that help you analyze vulnerability resolution progress:
Vulnerability Severity Trends
Vulnerability Count Over Time
Fixed and Not Fixed Vulnerabilities Count Over Time
These graphs enable you to monitor, track, and prioritize vulnerability resolution effectively.
Vulnerability Severity Trends
The Vulnerability Severity Trends graph displays the trends of vulnerabilities across CRITICAL, HIGH, MEDIUM, and LOW levels over time. It provides valuable insights into how the severity of vulnerabilities fluctuates with each scan.
Features
Click on the vulnerability options at the top left corner to include or exclude specific severity levels.
Hover over any point to see the count and date of vulnerabilities at that time.
Zoom in on specific parts of the graph by dragging left to right or right to left on the graph, to focus on a particular timeline.Click Reset Zoom to view the full curve over the entire timeline.
Vulnerability Count Over Time
The Vulnerability Count Over Time graph illustrates the count of vulnerabilities based on scan types (SAST, SCA, DAST, API, and Container) over time. This graph helps you understand which scan types are detecting the most vulnerabilities and how these vulnerabilities change over time.
You can refer for the same features given under Vulnerability Severity Trends section.
Fixed and Not Fixed Vulnerabilities Count Over Time
The Fixed and Not Fixed Vulnerabilities Count Over Time graph compares the count of fixed and unfixed vulnerabilities over time. Typically, the count of fixed vulnerabilities increases over time as more issues are resolved, while the count of unfixed vulnerabilities decreases due to improved remediation efforts.
You can refer for the same features given under Vulnerability Severity Trends section.
Tips:
At the top of the page, you can apply various filters to refine the graphs:
Timeline Filter: Set the timeline to 1 day, 1 week, or 1 month to update the graphs accordingly.
Team Filter: View trends for specific teams.
Date Range: Select a custom date range.
“Total” Filter: Enable or disable the "Total" filter to see cumulative counts. Total Enabled, displays the cumulative count of vulnerabilities found each day, starting from the first discovered, showing the total sum up to the current day.
Finally, you can click the green Print button at the top right corner to export the filtered graphs in PDF format.
