How to Integrate GitLab with CloudDefense.AI?

Integrate and manage your GitLab repositories effortlessly with CloudDefense.AI to bolster the security of your applications directly from your source code.


Pre-requisites:

Sign In or Configure with GitHub

  • New User: You can directly sign in to CloudDefense.AI using your GitLab credentials at the Login page. This efficient process not only streamlines your login access but also instantly integrates your GitLab account with CloudDefense.AI.


  • Configuring Existing Users: If your initial sign-in was via email or a different identity provider (IDP), you can integrate your GitLab account by heading to the Integration tab on the navigation bar. Within the Source Control section, choose GitLab and press the green Configure button to set up your account with CloudDefense.AI.


Scan Repos

Once you've authorized with your GitLab account, to verify your GitLab account will be shown as Configured on the Integration page.



On the GitLab integration page, your repositories will be displayed. To begin a scan, select the repositories you wish to analyze and hit the green Scan button at the top of the repository list. This triggers scans for all chosen repositories.



After the scans, go to the Applications tab to follow the scanning process. Once the scans are complete, you will see a summary of the results. For a detailed analysis, click on your project's name to explore specific security findings.
