Integrate your GitHub Enterprise with CloudDefense to leverage advanced security features directly within your enterprise's workflow.
Pre-requisites:
You should be signed in with CloudDefense.ai. If not, please refer to our guide on creating a CloudDefense.ai account.
Access to a GitHub Enterprises account and permissions.
Step 1: Get GitHub Enterprise Link and Generate Access Token
Enterprise Token
Ensure you have a GitHub Enterprise account. Access your enterprises by navigating to GitHub Enterprise Settings.<https://github.com/settings/enterprises>
If you do not have an enterprise account, you can create one here.<https://github.com/enterprise>
Generate Access Token
To generate an access token essential for integration go to Setting > Developer settings > tokens to create a new token. You can directly go here.<https://github.com/settings/tokens>
After creating the token, ensure to copy it for integration use.
Step 2: Configure Your Integration
Enter Details for Integration:
Once your account is set up for integration, navigate to the GitHub Enterprise tab where you'll find the following options available:
Enterprise Link: Provide the link to your GitHub Enterprise instance.
Enterprise Access Token: Enter the access token you previously generated and copied
Once you've provided the required information, click the green Configure button on the left bottom of the screen to finalize the integration.
By following these steps, you'll successfully integrate GitHub Enterprise with CloudDefense, enabling enhanced security measures and seamless workflow integration.
